About the role

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our team of 8 engineers working on cutting-edge blockchain infrastructure using polkadot-sdk. As our Polkadot Ecosystem Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of our strategic participation in the Polkadot Ecosystem while maintaining the highest standards of technical excellence and delivery quality.

This role combines technical leadership, program management, and team development in the fast-paced Web3 ecosystem. You'll be the key driver ensuring our Treasury Proposals deliverables are met on time while fostering a high-performance engineering culture.

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering management experience, preferably in blockchain or distributed systems;
• 2+ years of experience with the Polkadot ecosystem, Substrate framework, or polkadot-sdk;
• Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals and network protocols;
• Knowledge of Polkadot governance mechanisms and treasury proposals;
• Experience managing cross-functional technical teams (8+ engineers);
• Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects on time and within scope;
• Experience managing vendor relationships and contract execution;

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end execution of obligations to the Polkadot community, ensuring all deliverables mentioned in our Treasury Proposals meet quality standards and deadlines;
